NFL football betting Line and Odds: Jets -2 1/2, Total 36 1/2
We went 7-2 on our side picks last week, on upset Sunday in the N.F.L, as we said traditionally week 2 is ripe for a good juicy underdog. We will start our pick section with another minor upset here. In our eyes it’s not really an upset at all, but various sports books have the Jets as a favorite so I guess it is.
If you looked at this game 2 weeks ago, who would you pick; the Titans right? All of a sudden after 2 losses against 2 very good teams, they are underdogs to the Jets of all people. Don’t get me wrong we picked the Jets +3 last week against the Patriots, and they won outright, but this is the N.F.L., and all teams are pretty similar. Games are won by coaching and motivation, and Tennessee MUST have this game or their season is over.
This game will be very close, and the odds makers know that the Titans are a better team than the Jets, by not giving the home team at least a 3 point spread. We are taking the Titans here because they have to win this game, and the Jets after 2 huge wins will come back down to earth.
