This won’t be the USC team that you’re used to seeing. With former head coach Pete Carroll now calling the shots in Seattle for the NFL’s Seahawks and former Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin taking over in Los Angeles, the Trojans will be a new look team for the most part.
Sophomore quarterback Matt Barkley returns, but running backs Joe McKnight and Stafon Johnson are now in the NFL. Either way, USC will have no trouble beating up on a Hawaii team that finished with a losing record and returns half of its starters from last year. The line on USC is far too low. Take the Trojans -19.
