Welcome back guys. We are going to have a great year this year. We are going to start with the traditional opening night game featuring last year’s champ the Saints. There are problems in Minnesota. Favre may finally have shot his load, the receivers are banged up and, they were overrated to begin with.
The Saints are too good to have the usual “Super bowl hangover." If you followed my picks last year, you noticed that I prefer to take the “dog” and the under, because that is where the smart money usually goes. In last years opener we had Tennessee +4 in a similar spot and they covered. In this spot however, it is hard to see anything else but an easy Saint victory. The Saints sured up the defense in the off season, and with all the problems with the Vikings, they took a step back.
I hate to start the season by taking the “chalk", but we like New Orleans to win by at least 10 here.
