Washington takes to the road for the first time this season as the Huskies travel to Lincoln to face Nebraska for the third time in a year.  The Huskies current six-game winning streak is the fourth-longest in the nation.

In last year’s two meetings, the Huskies were handed a humiliating 56-21 home loss as three-point home underdogs, but gained revenge in tallying a 19-7 win in the Holiday Bowl as 11.5-point neutral-site underdogs.

Washington is plus-five in turnover margin so far this year, which is tops in the Pac-12 and sixth in the nation.  The team has also been incredibly difficult to run against this year, ranking seventh nationally in allowing just 43 yards a contest.

The program is 2-0 for the first time since 2007 and looking to go 3-0 for the first time since 2001.  Quarterback Keith Price ranks 14th in the nation in pass efficiency and has been a big part of the success.

One major edge that the team will have over many this year is the entire coaching staff came back for a third straight season.  It will be a key to pulling off an upset against an opponent that it will be playing for the third time in such a quick period.

None of it may matter if the Cornhuskers show up in this contest like they did in Seattle, when racking up 533 yards of total offense.

Bettors will find that the Huskies are 4-1 ATS as an underdog of 10.5 to 21 points and 6-5 ATS when playing on the road.

Nebraska will finish off a three-game home stand Saturday afternoon and is coming off a disappointing 42-29 victory over Fresno State as 28-point home favorites.  The Huskers were actually out-gained by six yards in the contest.

Saturday’s meeting will serve as the 10th all-time and the series is tied 4-4-1.  The most recent meeting in Lincoln resulted in a resounding 55-7 Nebraska victory.  The Cornhuskers have played as a top 12 nationally-ranked team in the last six regular-season matchups.

Nebraska is 35-21-3 all-time against Pac-12 opponents at game time, and 88-39-5 when including the conferences newest members, Colorado and Utah.

college football betting players will find that the Huskers are 20-4-1 ATS in their last 25 home games when playing a team with a winning road record.
